DISTA is a company built around the idea of exchanging boxes between
people, cities and cultures. For us, a box is not just packaging or a
set of objects — it is a physical message from one place to another.
We believe that a city or a country can be shared through small
details: snacks, stickers, notes, printed materials, local symbols,
strange souvenirs, handmade pieces and ordinary things that suddenly
become meaningful in another context.
DISTA box is a personal version of a place. It does not try to explain
a whole culture perfectly; instead, it collects fragments that show
how a place can feel through someone’s choice, memory and everyday
life.
Buy / exchange
You can buy a curated box from Russia, Japan or Abu Dhabi, or join a
personal exchange with another participant. Commercial boxes are
designed by our team and built from local objects, visual codes and
cultural fragments, but every box stays slightly different because the
objects come from real local sources.
Personal exchange is already available in selected countries. You
cannot choose the exact sender or country — the system matches
participants automatically. Check below to see whether your country is
already part of the exchange network.

Designed to travel again
We treat the box as part of the exchange system, not as something
disposable. After receiving a DISTA box, you can return the packaging
to us: we clean it, reuse it or recycle the material for future drops.
This way the box does not end its life after one delivery. It keeps
moving, changing hands and becoming part of new exchanges.
For DISTA, sustainability is not just a label — it is a practical
cycle where packaging can return, transform and travel again.
